A few days ago I discovered a website where I was welcomed to register for the webmaster's ezine. All good and well and obviously good marketing to have oglasi zaposao a subscribe page and method of catching visitors e-mails on your site. But the web designer supposed to state that the newsletter had a worth of $399 however I would be among the lucky ones and get it totally free.
Well I produce a newsletter and I think it is pretty good quality so what worth would I place on that ... definitely not $399, and I would have no idea what to value it at, after all just the subscriber can appropriately put a perceived value on the ezine they receive. So how can this other ezine have a value of $399?
And what about all these ebooks which apparently have a resale worth of $47, or $97 or more. Who are you going to get to buy these ebooks when all over you look the same ebooks are being provided for free ... you understand the ones-- 'Million Dollar Emails', 'Scientific Marketing', 'Magic Letters' and so on ... Many websites and sales pages will attempt to convince you to buy their product by including a a great deal of bonuses ... worth hundreds of dollars obviously and what are they, the same old ebooks again. And while a few of these ebooks are in fact worth reading, they now have no real worth as they are dispersed totally free everywhere you look.
If you wish to get someone to signup for your newsletter or purchase your product and services you require to offer something of genuine value ... something they can not get hold of anywhere else, or certainly not for the cost you are offering it at.
If you produce a newsletter or report, don't put a fictious worth on it that can not be backed up. We are so used to having freebies, bonuses, bonus etc pushed in our faces that they no longer actually work and to stand out from the crowd, you require to be various. Stay with genuine quality, correct worth and you will get subscribers, sales and signups.
